Available in ASM HERMES 10.6.8.15038 and later
System Controlled/Configured: Records are flagged for purging based on retention and delay periods, as set in the options in the Auditing page in System Administration. The purge process runs automatically on weekends. Records marked with a purge date are deleted if the date is in the past.
Authorised Users with the Data Admin role can manually flag records for purging and can also manually delay the purge if necessary.
Click the Purge icon in the toolbar
Select "Yes" when prompted
Authorised Users can delay purging via the Purge Delay button to extend the retention period for flagged records.
Select "Yes" when prompted top delay the purge
The purge date will be updated to reflect the current purge date plus the value specified by your system administrator. e.g., Current Purge Date + 15 Days, 30 Days, etc.
To see the allocated Purge data on the entity scheduled for purge, you can add the "Purge Date" field to relevant screens in ASM Screen Designer.
To search for records scheduled for Purge, add the "Purge Date" to your search criteria.
Click the Delay Purge Icon (Only visible for records scheduled for a purge)
