Quick Forms Quick Start Guide

Quick Forms allow you to specify the actions to take, or questions to ask for specific scenarios. This allows you to build in your triage and troubleshooting process directly into the screen.

This ensures the correct process is always followed and that the right data is always captured.

Enable Quick Forms

  1. Enable the Preview Feature (from 10.6 onwards, you can skip this step and go directly to #3)

  1. Reload ASM

  2. Enable “View Quick Forms” permission in the relevant IPK Security Role

  3. Navigate to Quick Forms Admin in Preview Features (for 10.6 and below)

4a. For versions 10.6. and higher, navigate to System Administration ->IPK Management -> Quick Forms)

Add a new Quick Form and Questions

  1. Add a new Quick Form

  1. Add Questions to the new Quick Form

  1. Save

  1. Navigate to Link Types to Quick Forms Admin

  2. Select a Type and a Form and click Link Type to Form

  1. Save

  2. Log a call and select the linked type
