Viewing an Approval Summary

From 9.6.0, users with the correct permissions can view a summary of all outstanding approval tasks, and action them if appropriate.

Users must have Approval Summary selected in the Options Tab of their Self Service Portal role.

To open a request in Self Service go to Dashboard > My Counts > My Approvals widget or from the Menu Navigation selct the Review Past/Current Requests Search:

  1. Select the My Approvals widget on the ASM Self Service home page. or Requests and then Review Past/Current Requests.

  2. Specify the search criteria and select Search.

  3. The Request Review Screen will show an additional widget for Approvals Summary . This will show all the Approval Tasks and User Approval Tasks for the request.

  4. The Approval Summary grid will show the Approval Status, Type, Task No.,Title, Approval Owner, Approval Comment, Date/Time Activated, Date/Time Completed fields.

  5. The User can action the Approval Task from this grid if they have the correct permissions.

This widget can be renamed in Screen Designer so may be called something else such as Request Approvals.
