# Planning Knowledge Management

Deciding to implement Knowledge Management can be a daunting task. ASM is preconfigured to allow you to get the most out of Knowledge Management

The main things to consider when planning to implement KM is:

* [ ] Will any of the content be available to the customer/user community?
* [ ] Will there be a KM team and moderators or will it be self-documenting
* [ ] What kinds of articles will I want?
* [ ] Will we need to import articles (contact Alemba Support)?
* [ ] How will it be maintained - what is the frequency that articles will need to be reviewed
* [ ] How will we handle notifications, Feedback and updates?
