The global Email Header and footer can be configured by Partition, and Language.
Before you can configure a global Email Header or Footer, you will need to enable the option. This is done is the Messaging configuration window of the System Administration/System Settings.
Access System Administration>System>Messaging
Under the Email Settings, Select Global Email Header and Footer.
Once you have enabled the Global Email Header and Footer in ASM, a new menu option will appear under the System Administration Menu called Email Header and Footer. You will configure the global email header and footer here.
CAUTION
Configure your header and/or footer using the ASM HTML Editor. Avoid Copy/Paste actions.
Inserting tables and other objects from editors such as Word or Outlook may insert html tags that will not be rendered correctly in your email messages. Ensure you are not introducing extra html tags by doing the following:
Copy the image(s) to an image file and use the HTML editor in ASM to insert the image.
Use 'Paste and match style" to paste text elements, then reformat your text using the ASM HTML Editor.
Avoid pasting or inserting tables from Word or other Microsoft products. These will always insert numerous, and possibly hundreds of lines of added HTML tags. These extra tags will cause your footers to behave unexpectedly.
If you have a partitioned system, ensure you are in the partition where you want to configure the Global Email Header and Footer.
Access System Administration>System>Email Header and Footer
Select the Language for this configuration
Select the Enable Global Header check box
Enter the Global Header you want to use
Select the Enable Global Footer check box.
Enter the global footer you want to use
