Field Calculations and Risk Calculation

You can use the Risk Calculator to weight the questions in the impact analysis and have the system calculate a value in the risk field (here is it re-labeled "Environmental Impact Assessment). Using the Risk Calculator removes the subjectivity that can sometimes bias these kinds of evaluations.

Example Service with an EIA attached

You can update the results of the Environmental Impact analysis directly to the service and therby closing the loop on the assessment. This also exposes the data to the service and allows you to use it for reporting and additional analytics that you will need for your TBL Accounting program.

TIP #1: When you do a request search from the CI, in this case the Service, you can see all requests ever logged against this service, including the EIAs.

TIP #2: If you put auditing on the fields (this is done in Screen Designer) you can also capture historical changes in the assessment values and use them for trending and even forecasting in your reports.
